The core team of Chongqing Googol Engine-Tech Co.,Ltd. entered the diesel generator set industry in 1991 and initiated the technical research and development of high-horsepower engines in January 2003. In 2006, we made a strategic investment and established a manufacturing base in Yongchuan, Chongqing, formerly known as “Chongqing Cork Engine Technology Co., Ltd.” Due to the development needs of the company, it was renamed “Chongqing Googol Engine-Tech Co.,Ltd.”in 2021.

Googol's product line includes diesel engines, gas engines, and gas generator sets. These products are based on a global mainstream design and power calibration, which has undergone extensive research and development. The use of modular design allows for two different bore and stroke sizes, with cylinder counts ranging from 6 to 20. This results in standby output power ranging from 490 to 3600 kW at 1500 rpm. The company offers dozens of different power engine matrices, ensuring a wide selection to meet diverse customer needs. The system has a maximum output of 3,600 kW at 1,500 rpm and has constructed a matrix of dozens of engines with different power levels. Googol's engines are characterized by low specific power output , high reliability, low exhaust temperature, low fuel consumption, clean emissions, and low operation and maintenance cost. This is due to the company's sharing of supply chain and lean manufacturing with global mainstream engine manufacturers.

Googol has pioneered many industry firsts, including the world's first 128/132/135mm bore V-type 14/16/20 cylinder engine and the 177/180/185mm bore V-type 10/12/14/16/20 cylinder engine. In 2012, Googol became the first enterprise in China to independently design and manufacture a high-speed diesel engine with V20 cylinders and a bore of 170mm, filling a significant market gap in the country. This achievement positioned Googol as the third enterprise globally capable of developing and manufacturing high-speed and high-horsepower engines with V20 cylinders.
